Tower With A View
We have an A+ minor league baseball team, the Blaze, associated with the Cincinnati Reds. Over the past 70 years, the team has been connected with different major league teams and has been called the Badgers, Indians, Boosters, Bears, Outlaws, Mariners and Dodgers. The original ballpark, Sam Lynn Ballpark, is still in use and best known for being built backwards (the sun sets in the hitter's eyes). Every once in a while, a major league scout will show up to watch the guys. Oddly, the scouts prefer to climb this transmission tower during day games rather than sit in the ballpark. I guess, with the sun to their backs, the scouts can see better. There's only been two or three electrocutions as a result and those usually occur when a scout is reaching for a bag of peanuts tossed from a ballpark vendor.
