Nuwa Nuooah was a member of the Kawaiisu tribe. This was the location of his herbal hut which was very popular with many different tribes. Nuwa was always concocting new blends of his herbs. Most blends went over well, however, he did have one blend that resulted in unarming 35 brothers. Literally, their arms fell off. That's when the 1863 massacre ocurred by soldiers under Capt. Moses McLaughlin. Nuwa never made that particular herb blend again.
