Cat Number Thirteen
I was trying to recall how many cats we've had over the years. I think Woody the Cat is number 13. I believe Shari and I have had 9 while we've been married. Woody is the last of the five we had at the current house. He's 16. We have always had more pets than we would have liked because of the other critters living with us. Kids. At one time, we had 5 cats, 2 dogs, 1 cockatiel and 45,000 hamsters at the same time. Hamsters are real smart other than about birth control , incest and cats. Hamsters can figure out how to get out of a cage. We didn't realize this until we started finding body parts scattered around the house and big smiles on cat faces. In the future, no more, cats, birds or hamsters. Probably a dog or two. Definitely, no more kids!
